Field Expert

No of Post: Tripura- 6

Qualification: M.A. (Rural Development), MSW, MBA, or its equivalent from reputed Institutions.

Experience: Candidates must have 3 Years of experience in working with Community Institutions and Capacity Building (SHG/VO/CLF/PG).

​

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Take the role of technical focal person for fishery and lead field-level implementation of fishery activities including promotion of improved fishing methods and post-harvest management practices, sustainable fisheries management, and the application of the FAO Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries.

2. Support the development and promotion of fishing group bylaws, business, and financial plans as well as market linkages and good business practices including record keeping.

3. Contribute to monthly, intermediate, and final reports, specifically through providing technical input.

4. Assist area coordinator in providing technical support for training of partner staff, monitoring of activities, and preparation of reports.

5. Review field-level reports from implementing partners and verify reported activities and achievements.

6. Effective communication with relevant stakeholders

7. Timely and effective reporting.

8. Proper monitoring of PoP adoption by the farmers.

9. Farmer-wise activity tracking & data updating.

10. Market linkages and enhance business.

11. Any other task assigned by the reporting officer

Remuneration: Negotiable
